HOLBROOK - A Navajo County jury has awarded $1.25 million to a victim of domestic assault.Patricia Lumpkins was awarded $250,000 in compensatory damages and $1 million in punitive damages by the jury members late in the evening of July 13 in Superior Court.

The judgment was against her husband, Jeffrey Lumpkins, who is currently serving a 13-year sentence for aggravated assault for an incident which occurred in the early hours of Jan. 15, 1999, at the couple's home on Show Low Lake Road in Show Low.
