As the first program of its kind, the Never Again Foundation is
gaining national attention. Keith Perkins, our executive
director and founding attorney, accepted invitations to speak
throughout the nation, including: Golden Gate University Law
School; Brigham Young University Law School - and as a keynote
speaker at the National Crime Victims Conference in Washington
D.C.
Much of the success is based upon the revolutionary and easy to
understand “three doors” teaching method pioneered
by Keith Perkins at the Never Again Foundation, which has been
widely accepted and embraced. For example, the Arizona
Crime Victims Rights video has now been broadcast to hundreds
of thousands throughout Arizona during the past year on public
service television.
In February, Keith presented at the International Therapeutic
Jurisprudence Conference in Honolulu, Hawaii, to many of the
most renown lawyers in the nation who study how to better use
the law to help victims heal. He also presented at several
other conferences including the NOVA conference in Atlanta,
Georgia.
Perhaps the highlight for the year came when Keith was featured
at the National Crime Victims Conference in Washington D.C.,
to a group of 1,000 people involved in helping victims of crime. Keith
spoke at the plenary luncheon, together with a hearfelt and
moving Kim Goldman (sister to Ron Goldman killed by O.J. Simpson),
well known victim’s attorney Amanda Farahany, and Jim
Ferguson, director of the National Crime Victim’s Bar
Association.
Keith has accepted an ongoing request to present each semester
at Brigham Young University Law School in Provo, Utah, teaching
students how victims can maximize justice by coordinating the
power of the civil justice system.
One of the important programs of the Never Again Foundation is
its educational mission to help crime victims, and those who
serve them, better understand the law. As a result, Keith
regularly accepts invitations to provide presentations throughout
the nation.
